    Milo-DNA20D mod step-by-step how-to

Not a *requirement*, but a strong suggestion, safety-wise.

    Milo-DNA20D mod step-by-step how-to

Probably going to be a few months...have to have the batteries shipped to the house and build it the next vacation. APO is still being stupid about lithium batteries via airmail, and being overseas, all mail comes in by air...

    Milo-DNA20D mod step-by-step how-to

Hiya retird... Yeah, I hear ya on weight/charge time. I *really* like how small the mini is, but the problem is that I work 12 hour shifts and a fair amount of time where I *don't* have access to recharge, so 'runtime' is a concern. I know I could build two minis and swap, or carry a battery...

    Milo-DNA20D mod step-by-step how-to

Thanks, Wyley - that's good to know. Certainly doesn't make it over-weight for a shirt pocket. Was planning on using the batts listed in the thread...but that brings up another thought: are the cells the same physical size in this mod as the mini/stealth mod? Doesn't look as if there's...

    Milo-DNA20D mod step-by-step how-to

Another question for those who have built a Milo... what's the weight? I was a bit worried about size, then did a comparison - it's a half-inch taller than a fistpack. Width and depth look to be the same (or close enough as makes no difference)...

    DNA20-D Mini Mod

Yes, I could...or build two minis as mentioned upthread. It *is* tempting, but a big part of the draw of the device *is* how small they are. If I have to carry a second one or an external pack to recharge, it negates that *leetle tiny thing* factor...and I hardly need *more* stuff in my...

I'm aware, yes...but I don't always have access to the *ability* to plug in.

    DNA20-D Mini Mod

Good to know, thanks! Of course, given the battery constraints of the mini, I'm probably going to end up having to go the Milo route...

Hi mamu!!! Wouldn't sealing off that area make it where you couldn't open the case to fix anything, though?

    DNA20-D Mini Mod

*sigh* Figured as much - thanks, doc. I'd *love* to find a double 9v case...same height/width, but double the depth. I bet you could get 3600mah of batteries in it..and wouldn't *that* be a sweet, sweet thing?

    DNA20-D Mini Mod

I was looking at those pics earlier...I had to do the same sort of thing when I built a Nicostick in an AA box waaaaaay back when. Cut out the ridges with an exacto knife. I thought I recalled mamu saying something about having to dremel out a bit around where the screen attached, but maybe it...

    DNA20-D Mini Mod

That definitely helps, retird...thank you! I use SR boges (normal length) and a Phiniac tank. Not sure what that equates to in usable ml, but I usually refill twice in a day (although it's not *all* the way empty when I do - call it 2 - 2.5 tanks/day normal use). Building two and swapping is...

    DNA20-D Mini Mod

I currently use a tanked SR Boge at about 8 watts on a Provari. Batteries (2000mah IMR 18650) are about a year old and I get about 12-16 hours depending on vape time, so if I can beat that I'm happy.
