Remember everyone, if you think of something else you want to say to the FDA (except anything NSFW ), you can make multiple comments, so go ahead and say it!
The comment window closes one week from today! Say what you want to say, while you still can!

Ah... :D it's so refreshing to see such a well-written rebuttal to one of the most notorious anti-vaping studies to date! Well done!!
The device they were testing was identical to using an innokin iclear 16 on a vision spinner battery, so you can imagine puffing on that thing...
This study is already being widely published :D check out the thread in the media section for links to more articles discussing it:

This study was very well conducted :D if you...
It's a glorious system, isn't it?
We have a major addiction problem. Let's eliminate it by education, regulation, and demonization.
Ok that didn't completely work, we still have lingering addicts. So let's take advantage of that.
Let's charge sky-high taxes on the demonized drug. We can...
My mom sent me an email with a link to another article discussing this study:
Health News - Current evidence suggests benefits of e-cigarettes outweigh harms
This study is blowing up everywhere! :vapor:
Thank you! I've read the economic impact analysis, but I didn't really understand it. I didn't know there was a thread on it, that whole conversation happened and then fell into the recesses of the forum before I returned from my 4 year hiatus...
I know that, they haven't defined the premarket applications for e-cigarettes yet. Scratch that, I was wrong. I was using medical devices as an example of what we should expect to see. I'll go back and edit that post to make that more clear...
It just goes to show there is a huge difference in perspective and knowledge between law and the medical profession. People who work in medicine know that vaping and secondhand vapor are perfectly safe because they understand that nicotine is relatively harmless. Plus they would give you...
Exactly. They wanna keep taxing the heck out of us instead of collecting taxes from the super rich in this country who can easily afford to pay. :glare:
My state has one of the highest per-pack cigarette taxes in the nation. A pack of marbs costs $11 now. The indian reservations have...
I'm not sure where the exact figure of $330,000 came from, but it is true that the cost of filing a premarket approval application for a drug or medical device has always been prohibitively high. The FDA states in the deeming regulations that every new tobacco product will also have to file a...
It's not your fault. Even if they told you the risks they would have made it sound like he should be on it anyway.
It's tragic, but we live and learn. I feel better after everything I've gone through knowing that I've learned things that can be imparted to other people. Because of the...
Parkinsonism is far more common in older antipsychotics than newer ones. They may not have told you because they believed the risk was so small that the benefit outweighed it, but that was still very irresponsible of them, they are required by law to tell you all the risks. Even worse, he...
There was a poll on this back in the day, with ranges like 18-25, 26-35, etc... it would be easier to see the actual age distribution that way :) I'd like it if we had another poll like that ;-)
I am 31 years old btw :D and I assure you, 31 is much better than 21! You can count on it!
Parkinsonism is a potential consequence of any antipsychotic :( so yeah, these should only be prescribed long term if the person really needs them long term!
Zyprexa is a nasty drug  I remember when it was being touted as the latest and greatest thing, and everyone who had a psychotic...
Actually, studies have shown that if you quit smoking for a long time (i.e. years), your risk for smoking-related diseases, including cancer, is reduced to almost as low as a never-smoker :) so yes, over time they can prove if there is any risk of vaping causing cancer.
I highly doubt it does...
