    I've always got better results in TC using spaced coils. I have some NiFe70 from Crazy Wire and I'm using their recommended TCR of .005 and it's working fine. I'd give spaced coils a go if it was me.

    I despise screw on battery caps, especially ones with fine threads. That's why I skipped both models. I instead went with a Blood Red Lavabox DNA75 with a battery door held on with Rare Earth Magnets (strong). It's a little more expensive but if you look for a sale it can be had for ~$75-$80...

    Two things: 1. If it started happening after only 1 week, did you contact Vape Royalty and ask for a refund or exchange? 2. No matter where you bought it from, Evolv will warranty the chip for 1 year. Cheers, Steve
