    ThinkVape Finder 133 DNA200 mod

I use an Anker portable power supply and an Anker 10 outlet USB charger in my home. Both have a maximum output of 2.4 amps. They both work great. In Escribe you can set up one of the three small displays of the mod to display the charging current, if you are interested. Cheers, Steve

    ThinkVape Finder 167 DNA250 mod

My Finder 167 made it to me today (good job USPS ). It looks great (imo). You weren't overselling it BA. Like you, I don't think my pictures do it justice (I just opened it and these were taken quickly). PS The sticker on the box says it's Black + Coffee Color Elephant (for whatever...

    ThinkVape Finder 133 DNA200 mod

First off I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the mod. Secondly, it's perfectly safe to charge in the mod. That particular model uses a DNA200 board (it's 133 watts because it uses two instead of three cells in series). It has a very good balanced charging board. Most DNA200 mods use 3s Lipos...

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

It definitely should make a difference having the finder on 2 cells instead of 3. You should have been getting a low voltage warning if you had 3 cells selected. PS Don't forget to click on Upload Settings to Device at the top of Escibe after making changes to save them to your mod...

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

I use the one I posted. Even though it's labeled for use with the Wismec, it's voltages are for a single cell (if you click on it you will see for yourself). That is because the DNA chip checks each battery's voltage separately. Cheers, Steve

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

There is a few possible reasons that could be happening. 1. Your batteries could be at the end of their usefulness. 2. You might not have put in the correct watt hours. 3. You might not have the correct battery discharge curve installed. The mod while at rest will look at the voltage of...

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

Correct, to calculate the watt hours you multiply the mah (3000) x the nominal voltage (7.4v for two 18650's in series) and divide it by 1000. So you would have 3000 * 7. 4 / 1000 = 22.2WH. Cheers, Steve

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

If you are going to run the battery analyzer you should have the proper resistor. Most people run the battery analyzer to generate a discharge curve and get the watt hours . You can download a LG HG2 discharge curve here Kurven für Akku | DNA200 German Crew Cheers, Steve

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

The Finder would be the better choice if you want to use 2 cells. It will be lighter and easier to pocket. In Escribe, using 2 x LG HG2's you would set the watt hours to 22.2WH . There is a watt hour calculator in Escribe also. I have both dual and triple 18650 DNA mods. I tend to take the dual...

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

I'm sorry to inform you that the Triade can't be run with 2 cells because the battery sled is wired in series (The Dna250/200 is run with either 2 or 3 cells in series). With only 2 cells it would be an open circuit. Think of it like the old Maglite that held 3 D cell batteries in a row...

    Triade DNA200 vs. Finder DNA133

They both use the exact same chipset/board. The DNA200 chip is 200 watts when using 3 cells. It is 133 watts when using 2 cells. I have a couple of different mods that I can switch configurations in (Lost Vape Duo, Hotcig DX200). That all being said, both mods can now be bought with the DNA250...

    HOHM Wrecker 151W TC ?

I believe the HE4 is the newer/upgraded version of the HE2. In what way I'm not sure. I believe they are both 20amp, 2500mah cells. If I had to guess I would say maybe they heat up less at higher amp draws or maybe they give you a tad longer runtimes. Cheers, Steve The Top 5 18650 Batteries for...

    ThinkVape Finder 167 DNA250 mod

I ordered one from FT this morning (their Black Friday/Cyber Monday code was working :)). I wanted the GM/Black frame with the Brown/Red Croc. Since they have one listed that way, I'm a happy camper. :toast: PS I hope everyone has a Great Thanksgiving! Cheers, Steve

DNA 200 device that can withstand rubbing alcohol

I have two Triade DNA250's. They are very nice. The main improvements over the DNA200 version are: 1. Reverse Polarity protection built in (no mechanical rings that can cause connection issues and rip battery wrappers) 2. Two amp balanced charging board instead of the one amp board on the...

DNA 200 device that can withstand rubbing alcohol

I'm not sure if your pulling our legs with this question. I have a hard time believing you're serious about this but just in case, why not get a Triade 200 or 250. You can get a silicone case on ebay for around $10. Wipe it down as much as you like. If you ruin it you're only out $10. Cheers...
