if you get someone to setup linux it is great for the Mature crowd...it just works. I set up my inlaws as well - they surf the Net and do email. Even taught them to do skype
my advice is go for a very Noob friendly distrobution. I recommend Ubuntu. Ubuntu is Swahili for "community". That is where it excells - alot of linux people are not tolerant of Noobs asking questions. the Ubuntu community is glad to help anyone figure stuff out. Things have changed a lot...
Note to one of the above posts. Build at a final 1.5ohms for a ego or newbie on a mech. That means if you are using a dual coil setup you need to build each at three ohms since it will be halved in a dual configuration. That being said I popped a coil and am running 3ohms on an MVP at 9.5...
A lot of laptops have underpowered ports. Might be a function of the amount of power available to the port when running off battery. Some computers have a specific USB port for higher demand devices.

Cotton is great because you can easily remove it and rewick it if needed without rebuilding coil. With cotton less is more. Less cotton is more flavor. Not a fan of the cloud methods. I have been building the dragon coil lately and it is easiest wick to do and has great results. Check out...
It is a Phoenix V10 which is clone of something else. Yes it has holes in posts. Altsmoke has them for less than $20. I love the look of this RDA on my MVP.

Remember with cotton less is more. Too many people go crazy with cotton. I can make close to twenty wicks out of a cotton ball. Boil it and let dry out and you are good to go. I can't taste difference between organic and normal 100% cotton.

Going a little off topic but....if your going to build. Get a RDA. Dripping gives the best flavor and fullest thickest hit you will get.

No way. I patented it but I will sell you an authentic one for a reasonable price.
Old smokers trick. Always got tired of my bics lighters falling out of my shirt pocket every time I bent over. Defiantly keeps it from sliding around on the console when i am vamping and driving.

Here is mine with a Phoenix v10 RDA. still get great performance on the MVP compared to other attys. FYI the rubber band keeps this bugger from falling out of my pocket or sliding on counters or the dashboard.

I get good results with an RDA on my MVP. I can create decent cloud on a single 3ohm coil. I had duals for 1.5 and popped one and haven't rebuilt it yet. Surprised how good it still performs on the MVP at the higher resistance.
To me the drip provides the best flavor and volume of smoke...
I love baking Especially bread. Nothing like kneading 7 lbs of dough to release stress. Kids will tell you dad is the better cook but they prefer moms cooking only because she does her own dishes and they have to clean up after me. Lol

Funny when I started smoking I could get two packs for less than a buck. Cartons were discounted to around $7.50. Cheapest place in town was the drug store. I would take fake notes from my mom to buy cigs.

Dripping for the win. Clearomizer for convenience. Nothing beats the taste of a good built dripper with a cotton wick.
