I think we got crossed wires Ed. I am talking about a capability to import/export specific fields/values into/out-of the JC database. As an example, I have some 250 flavours in my Ingredients list and for each of them (where I have the data), I have inserted the weight density in the "Grams per...

Agree but even then how would you import this XML into JC without messing up your existing database? In the end the only way is to manually input the data. What would be really cool is if the program could parse SQL like statements against XML or CSV files. For example, it would great if it...

Not sure what you asking for here. Are you asking for some sort of method to export/import all the flavour values (or weight values)? There is no facility in the program to do this that I know of short of exporting/importing a single recipe or an entire database of recipes. But I dont think...

Flavour Density. Not sure if something about this has been posted before. But this may be useful to JuiceCalculator users. There's a selection box in the Ingredients Editor titled "Grams per ml". HotRod has provided a button to auto calculate this, which always equates to 1.038 Grams/ml...

Thanks heaps Joel! This has cleared up a problem I have had with JC in the years using it. I don't understand it but your tip here solved it for me. I have never understood what the message "Unable to add enough PG for desired level" meant since the amounts I plug into JC seem correct. I also...

Yes, I am running mine under Yozemite 10.10.5 on a Macbook Air under Winebottler. It all works except for printing. Printing works but its messed up. There are also a few niggly bugs but I get by with them.

I doubt the file maintenance program will fix it. Do you have backups turned on? If so, have a look in the "JuiceCalculator" directory for copies of backups and open one of those files. Did you get an error message when you last saved or exited the program? Did you run out of disk space or...

Line 89 is the last line in the file. It is chopped off at the end leaving a trailing "<" which is the last character in the file. All the Manufacturer and ingredients list is missing. Sorry but unfortunately, whatever followed this character is lost unless you have a backup.

Geez! I hope Rod is OK. He hasn't responded to my emails and always has in the past. A question re PG/VG percentages in the ingredients editor for Nic. If I am adding 7.2% PG based Nic, what value should the PG percent be. I have always left this at the default 100% but I am not sure this is...

Yeah if you search back through this thread I gave instructions on how to install the calculator under Wine. Essentially, you install Wine with "winebottler". Ensure you choose the latest .NET and away you go. Install the portable version. Full functionality except printing does not work...

The latest version .NET 4.7 was released only yesterday! and it looks like they have a fix for this very problem. From Microsoft's .NET blog: However, they also state: So, this fix has probably not propagated to earlier releases yet. But if your running Windows 10 and have this problem, this...

Hi Rod, Happy New year to you and your family. FYI, I just installed the latest version 8.0.0.6. Whatever you did in this update fixed the long-term problem on the Mac under Wine -> the checkbox "Available Inventory" now works. Thanks again for all your hard work.
