    New Calculator to try

Thanks Rod. Appreciated. The Default Recipe Values is a great idea. I never thought about doing that. That'l do fine for me. The image: I am into developing clones for myself (mostly, although I do share some ;) Being able to save a pic of the clones would be cool. But Also, strange as it may...

    New Calculator to try

Interesting. Maybe I am missing something but where is the "Last made" window? The box "Last made on" box on the main recipe form is auto filled when you "Make recipe". Is this what you mean? But why would you want a calendar pop up here?

    New Calculator to try

Thanks once again Rod. Excellent new features. I read some requests for new features. Here's mine: WIshlist: Option to turn off “Below inventory threshold” window at startup and when a Recipe is made. Be able to search for ingredients in ingredients editor and current inventory. E.g, search...

    New Calculator to try

Thanks for the input. I renamed the ShoppingList.xml to save it, then I restarted the app. The shopping list shows empty now. So I click "Add below threshold ingredients" and the list was updated correctly. But this still does not explain how the problem occurred. And that's what I was trying to...

    New Calculator to try

You gave me a clue Fozzy. Thanks. On the Mac, the file structure is complicated but I found the files thanks. I looked at the .xml file for the shopping list and its weird. I see: <ShoppingItem> <Vendor /> <ItemName>Vanilla Custard V1 (The Flavor Apprentice)</ItemName> and...

Yeah. I think its the version of .NET you are using. If you read Rod's Readme file going back a few versions..." Version 1.0.4.0 Changed the .NET framework requirement from 4.5 to 4.0. This allows the application to be installed on a Windows XP machine." I tried with 4.5 and it did not work. But...

    New Calculator to try

Slight confused at what your saying here. The only way I add to the shopping list is via the "Add to shopping list" button on the main menu. When this comes up,it gives a list of ingredients to add with checkboxes. I presume these are ingredients in the current recipe, and each of those...

    New Calculator to try

Interesting. I am running the application under Wine on a Mac with WinXP and .NET 4.0. Do you have the right version of .NET installed as I could not get it to work with .NET 4.5? Incidentally, what "folders of flavors" are you talking about. I don't see such folders in my configuration.

Another one. Filter by recipe by "Available inventory", the last recipe (which there is enough ingredients) is missing from the list in "Recipes". Sorry to bother you with all these bugs but thought it will help. Still love your software.....and its about time I sent some cash ;)

    New Calculator to try

Another strange anomaly Note the two Vanilla Custard items in my ingredients inventory. But look at the manufacturer in the shopping list. They are the wrong way around - "Vanilla Custard V1" should be Capella and the "Vanilla Custard" should be TFA. The Ingredients inventory is correct.

    New Calculator to try

Hi Rod, thanks for the update. Eternally grateful. Do you ever sleep? I am still having trouble with the shopping list feature but maybe I am not using it correctly. I have some Flavour ingredients defined in my inventory but with 0 (zero) Inventory amount since I have not ordered them yet. As...

    New Calculator to try

Update worked great within Wine on the Mac. Thanks Rod. The shopping list doesn't seem to work. If I click "Add to shopping list" from the main menu, I check some ingredients and click "Add". But View->Shopping List is empty. Am I doing something wrong?

    New Calculator to try

Thanks Rod for this tip. I just had a play (on my Mac) with this. It works but is cumbersome. When you are entering ingredients into a recipe, the drop down is auto-filled with the first ingredient in your list of ingredients. This messes up the drop down list IMO. I have turned it off. One...

    New Calculator to try

Fanbloodytastic! this application is so cool. Sorry my bad then. I didn't go looking at the options, I will in future ;) I see the red messages and in the drop down too now. The only thing then is "make recipe". IMO I still don't think this button should be enabled if there isn't enough...

    New Calculator to try

Maybe its something to do with running under wine. I don't see anything in "red" when there isnt enough ingredients. E.g., I have added FW Cheesecake to my ingredients inventory but with 0ml Inventory amount since it's on order and haven't got it yet. But I can add it to a recipe even with zero...

    New Calculator to try

Hi there, and thanks for this brilliant calculator, which I just installed on my Mac with WineBottler (required .NET 4.0). I noticed a nasty bug and thought I would bring it to your attention. But please note that I am not in any way complaining. This software is absolutely brilliant and I...
