TS Spring won't fit the Grant,i bought some and they're too small. Did your cartos work on the Grant at first ? The centre post is floating on my Grant, if you look at the base of the top cap there is a brass circle,push it towards the cap then put your carto on. -

Grant battery questions
I've never needed magnets with any battery on the Grant but on another i'd normally put them on the positive.I've pm'd you about a spring if the 17500 doesn't work out for you. I'd love to hear how long that lasts though :) -

I don't know Imeo, i bought the last one so it already had the button and vent holes, maybe some other Grant owners could say what happened. But you did sell a last 'lot' of Grants maybe only these had the features.But i remember the button upgade being done for some. -

Imeo,why do you think this is a GGT ? My 14500 imr batteries rattle in mine :) Easiest way to tell, if a 18650 will fit in the hole it's not a Grant :laugh: -

Thanks for letting us know AW 17500 fit the Grant buGG,i've always stuck to 14500's both protected and imr's. The revisions were always the button with some being sent back for the locking button to be added for safety. -

Use or Abuse?
I've been using and abusing my Grant for 2 years now,dropped it outside a few times etc and it's still works a treat. I bought it to use it :-) I occasionally give it a good cleaning but it isn't often. -
