actually, if i do decide to try the sponge method, i'm just going to sponge over the top of where it is right now. i don't see why i would need to strip it.
that is brilliant! i was trying to think of something that would fill that void and prevent saturating the inside. sheeez. how simple of a fix. thanks again!
hey there ValHeli! thanks for jumping in here and thanks for the info. i've been copy/pasting all the advice/suggestions that you guys have been providing regarding the swirl painting to a text file. i will probably give it a spin with the testors this weekend. i kinda liked how my guinea pig...
good points. i looked at the marble paints a couple weeks ago - but that was as far as i went.
are you using the krylon matte finish for the inside and then packing the center of the shell with something to protect it during the dip? or is the inside of the case also getting coated with the...

i started out with 4 cups boiling water and ~8 tablespoons of the liquid dye. it didn't seem to be...
YAY ME! i ordered on 10/22 and they arrived a few minutes ago (11/3). now i gotta run out to the hardware store to get the krylon matte finish 1311 to prime it unless just using nail polish on it will do the same thing?? i think the nail polish will work fine for the outside, but will probably...
whew! they are making it so difficult to find people on here. heh. sooooooo happy you got in on the Peko v1.1 parts. it's gonna be so much fun assembling and playing with paint on those things. megaHUGS!
