    Hmmm, wonder why they chose that name. VCO stands for voltage controlled oscillator, which is an analog synthesis term. The engraving matches that, showing a sine waveform.

    Thanks! Was wanting the afc ring satin as well, but that's stuck on my other base at the moment, so I may brush this one if I can't get the satin one recovered. The button, screw and spring are all plated. I like it a lot!
