    Just curious, since it's VW, why would you want to use a .5 ohm coil? It would be up to 30w either way. Why not just build a 1 ohm coil and crank it up to 30? I'm not much of a sub ohm guy, so I'm sure there's probably something I'm missing.

    Yup! V3 + heron is the only thing on my radar besides the Super-T strata so far this year. Why bother with anyone else's stuff? It all seems uninspired.

    Phew, I almost bought an X. But ended up reading around more and they were out of stock. My wallet breathed an audible sigh of relief. I had decided to wait for the new paps v3, but my resolve was definitely tested.

    That's good news! I'll definitely be picking up a new P+. I just wanted to also say that my posts are just speculation and opinion, so I could be totally offbase and there won't be any compatibility between the P+ and Simplicity lines, but it sure would be cool.

    Backwards compatibility usually means compromises on moving designs forward. I think the reworked P+ will have changes to the top cap, including the threading which means backwards compatibility isn't possible. Current P+ owners have been lukewarm when it comes to preordering the strata...
