    Here are 2 day old wicks ~15ml of my diy NET liquid through each. Rayon at the top and organic cotton underneath. Both were diminishing at this point.

    What I do is take the pg soaked leaves/flakes/tobacco and pour them into a large syringe with cotton at the tip. Then I reinsert the syringe plunger and squeeze the liquid out. It gets filtered by the cotton on the way out.

    Same amount of liquid, 7-8 ml a day. Irritation went away after a few days switching back to organic cotton, then came back when I tried rayon again.     Yeah, same throat irritation for me too. Not sure if it was the rayon or some other factor though.

    My favorite so far is Dunhill flake. 5 flakes to 15ml pg in the rice cooker for 12 hrs. Triple filtered through syringe/cotton. Still gunky but the flavor is top class. For anyone who has extracted Mcclellands, does the ketchupy scent/flavor carry through to the vape?

    Brick, the gs is different than the full size taifun or kayfuns in that the ss mesh does not contact the coil. The mesh only feeds the cotton/silica/rayon which is in the coil. You dont even have to oxidize it if you dont want to, though I do. No wonder folks get so confused with these...

    Totally, just a first impression. I will give it a few months at least and a bunch of builds. As far as this build, it starts to get a little funny at 4.9v so not gonna push too far. Gonna have to learn it just like cotton. I dont like a super hot vape, been mostly 4.2-4.3v.

    Its feeding fast enough to support 13w @ 2.4ohms? Wow, thats 5.6v and 30g heats up quickly. No burnt or dry hits? How is the material holding up?

    Those batts are not the best choice, but will be fine on your vtr. 4 hours charging is not out of the ordinary at all, my batteries take 6+ hours. No need for a remaining voltage readout on the vtr, green above the fire button youre good, yellow is about half, red means needs charging soon.
