    The ss. Choice is either an rn4081 or a dse 103, they aren't great but you could have done worse. Main drawbacks are that the battery life is abysmal and replacement atties are difficult to track down

    Ive only ever popped one atty doing a dry burn, but that was at 7.4 volts, figured it might clean more effectively that way, but alas it did not. lesson learned

    Nimh batts don't vent from overdraining them, that's why they are more widely used than li-ion ( the one exception being e-cigs)

    you're very welcome. unfortunately v4l cartos are incompatible with the 4081, and I dont think they make adapters either. you can however get an adapter from a 510 to a 4081, if you're still interested in getting a 3.7 mod that would be the way to go.
