New to ecigs - How do I know which brand/model to buy?

lfries, Docd, Rosa, and everyone else who's offered advice - thanks for your helpful comments. Maybe someone has already explained it and I'm too dense to have picked up on it, but there is one point I'm still a little fuzzy on. New to ecigs - How do I know which brand/model to buy?

I guess I should clarify that I'm looking for a 2 piece ecig for the convenience, and a long battery life, and something that tastes as close to a real cig as possible. Does such a thing exist? I'm worried that using drops will be a hassle.
