Not at all. The slight sour or what some think of as mustiness comes through. Gawith, Hoggarth Louisiana flake is the only tobacco that has captured the true taste of Perique. Many companies hide/cover up the taste with other tobaccos or flavorings fearing some customers may not really like... -

another of my newest extractions was filtered and ready to test. It is Louisiana Perique Flake by Gawith & Hoggarth & co. I have to say here this is TRUE Perique! I have tried many other brands of Perique and this is the first and only e-liquid that has the characteristic slight sour smell...- checkum
