Have you considered using a stronger ratio/strength? Say somewhere between a 10 and say 18% instead of a 5% one? -

As an aside, I macerated perique leaf tobacco from Leaf Only tobacco, in January. Did a cold extraction for nearly 60 days. Tried some liquid in March. Not much flavor. tried it again over the weekend at approximately 21%. What a difference! Excellent!! :pervy:- checkum

I tried it and it wrecked my throat. I used to be able to do 70/30 PG/VG! After a year or so it hit me like a ton of bricks, couldn't do any percentage. -

I have to congratulate Evan on his stanch adherence to cold maceration and good filtering techniques. I only wish I could buy several of his liquids. However, with my allergy toward PG {cough and rash} alas I cannot purchase even one. :grr: -

Anthony, I have to agree with you on the changes in some NETs' taste 100%. I also have to add that even some tins of tobacco, I have bought recently, do not even resemble the aroma or taste when extracted and vaping! -

One of my favorite extractions to go to, when I need a change, is "Autumn Evening." However, a new extraction of C&D's Autumn Evening has little in common with one made over a year ago. Unfortunately it has less of the flavor I so enjoyed. :(- checkum

Heck, I have opened up some tins of tobacco, to extract, and found the aroma so wonderful I had to use all the willpower I have not to shove the tobacco in my mouth and eat it! LOL :laugh:- checkum

One other thing.....the testing after 10 days { prepare a small amount to vape} is AFTER it has soaked for extraction for 6 to 9 weeks! :vapor:- checkum

see the jars That's How I Roll used ? a pint I believe. use these and approximately 3/4 oz. or one oz. tobacco. I fill with 1/4 Everclear vodka and 3/4 pure VG. If I only have 3/4 oz I let it set longer. You have to test the extraction every once in a while: I usually try it out after 10 days...- checkum
