    Yeah BigMike, I've not used IPA, only near-boiling water, and my paint has come off as well. I'd speculate the heat of the atty and the inexpensive painting process won't allow the paint to last for a very long time.

    These o-rings might be something to look into. The pro modders around here could likely tell us what the best material would be however. EDIT: Actually, here are the FDA listed ones in the various, smaller size. I think the temperature ranges are similar.

    Well done IsaacClarke. I've done this between juices, after blowing and tissue-drying. I dropped 3 on the battery end hole of the atty, it sucks it right down in there (and likely getting into the outer, mesh basket better). I let it set (battery end up, without the tank), dried the battery...
