    The wick, if it's the stock silica is not burnt, to have a burnt wick, you would have had to rewick with a material that does burn like cotton or bamboo. Try cleaning the minis, they are probably fine, just gunked up is all.

    I got my son inlaw one of the 1300 mAh clone kits off Fasttech just for the batteries since the few devices he has are all for ego. Not bad for under 25.00 and he got 2 1300mAh ego batteries. If you want VV, try the iTaste, good VV for the price.

    That is normal, 2-4 days tracking will show Hong Kong. It arrives and goes through both outbound and inbound customs there, then is sent to the US. The label will not be scanned again until it reaches it's first US Post Office, then it's 2- 4 days until it gets to you.

    I'd get him the V2 kit, Cool mist and tribeca, then if he wants a light menthol taste he can mix the two and get a nice light methol vape, or have more menthol in the cool mist alone or, no menthol but the good taste of tribeca.

    You'd need the flavoring (water soluble - oil based flavors are not good for vaping), the nic base, the plain PG and/or VG and some sweetener. Then use the ejuice calculator to see how much of what gets what you want, Start at 3% lemon flavor and work up to taste.

    It sounds like you didn't let it wick up long enough and burnt the wick a bit. Now if it's a stock silica wick, you can clean it. I soak them in white or cider vinegar fo half and hour, then rinse and dry burn.

    If flavor is the issue, go with coton wicks - plenty of videos on how to do it - cheesecloth is about the best and easiest to do IMHO.
