    True, protanks don't do well on flavor with much but cotton wicks, IMHO. but still tasting nothing sounds like vaper's tongue.     Bad for the batteries, never a problem with my protanks, but then I do set them up to run 100% PG juice anyway so thinning isn't an issue after I get to them anyway. I'd say just happenstance that they blew after being in the car.

    It sounds like you had a tank cracker juice in there, you won't have that problem with the protank. Also clearos are expendable, they don't last forever, no delivery device does w/o repair and, some things that do eventually go wrong just can't be repaired.

    Sounds interesting but, you'd have to have a way to control coil temps and, a way to adjust it for different juices. One may be fine at a certain setting, the next would burn at that setting, you'd also need coils that were more pop resistant than what we have now. It might work better misting...
