I don't know exactly how long it will stay good, but I have read that a lot of people have had great success freezing nic liquid. Since it is normally good for 2 years kept in a cool dark place, I would guess at least 5 years(if not 10) frozen.
Not exactly that kind of peppery but the are bacon flavorings and worchesterchire sauce flavorings...I'm sure you could mix up something close to jerky. :)
What is the PG/VG mix of your juice? If it's too thick it doesn't wick in as easy. May need larger holes.
Also were you a carto user before you started using the tank? If not then it may just be the difference of the device.
Trust me when I say you will want some flavoring. The nic liquid has a very peppery, slightly metallic taste that is NOT pleasant. Come on over to the DIY section. Those guys can tell you more than I can.

Actually, in more detail it is about a wire coil with a magnet being spun inside it and there are calculations to get specific voltages and amps. Good old mathmatics!
The bridge shouldn't be in the way of anything unless your dripping. But if you're not using carts they might as well no be there.
