    Yep, yep, yep! Best thang next to sliced bread! Imitates the analog well enough to keep my nic saturated brain happy! I tried other cartos (Boge and such) and they are all airy compared to the Volt. I like the nice tight draw.

    Cheaper is not necessarily better in this case. This thing has more bells and whistles than I ever seen in any other brand for the price. Incl wireless and wired networking and more codecs than most units out there. And the reviews are good so far... Bargains are in the eye of the beholder! LOL!

    Well, there's always C Band. At least for east and west broadcast HD network feeds. You would be surprised what one can do with an old hubcap and a small C band LNB.     BTW, the media machine on my tv is an old 950mhz machine and works beautifully. As it's only job is media, it allows you to keep it simple. I use XP with all the bells and whistles disabled and Media Portal boots on top of XP and is all you see when it's running.
