I've already had a couple of PM's with people wanting to send me money to buy the parts. I'd really like to avoid that, if anything to just avoid any questions of impropriety.
Bob, let me know what Mark has to say.
I'll pass on the 5v chips, thanks. Chances are anyone with a 5v either has a backup (not many people start with 5v) or would be able to find a 5v PT cheaper than parts + shipping would cost anyways.
Not sure of any easy way to do that. Would either have to do a variable mod or find a chip that regulates 3.7v. A variable mod is my next project here eventually, but for now I'd have to say I don't have a way to do this right now.
Exactly. I've built 5 so far (given away 3) and it's a nice...
PM me if you have stuff to donate. It would really be perfect if I had enough parts to build em and just send them out and let people get batteries and chargers if they need them.
I got the go ahead from Jules on this, so here it is.......
After reading about people who don't have a backup PV for when their's breaks or dies and need something while it's repaired, I've decided to offer to build 3.7v boxmods for those who don't have something as a backup.
Let me say this...
Take a look at the pipe tobacco extract thread in the sub-forum just above. Some good info about making flavoring from tobacco. I haven't read anything yet about leeching nic from it tho. I'm sure some must get drawn using these methods, but I think you'd probably need some real lab equipment...

Edit: or...is there a big plate on the chip that is basically connected to the drain? Don't have...
One thing to remember is that the updates from the USPS aren't always correct. I ordered some stuff a couple weeks ago from various suppliers, and some orders still showed as being at the origin's post office when it was sitting in my mailbox. Basically, it's nice to have tracking, but don't...
