Alright......I looked at madvapes, and the description for their LDO 5v says it can be used as a mosfet at 3.7v. So there I go. Also, just for fun I ordered a bunch of free ones from ti.com. They look small, but they are free so can't break something that's free, right?
I'm not a coffee drinker, but I would love to try some coffee flavor. I've only tried one from a juice vendor that was WAY strong and dry and blech.... Any recommendation for one from TPA or the like that isn't quite so strong? Now that I have some vanilla/carmel/cream flavors I could see those...
Might've been somewhere else then. One place I was looking at mosfets wanted to charge me $9 shipping for $5 worth of chips.
I'd like to know if that's true, would solve a lot of problems since I need to order from them soon anyways.
Not only that, but there's got to be places to buy stuff either in Denver or along the Front Range somewhere. Denver's large enough to have just about anything. Hell, I rebuilt some pinball machines a few years ago...there's a place for that in Denver.
On the ones I've built (from the various tutorials here) I've always taken the kill switch (negative) straight to the shell, and the positive to the switch, then center post. So either works then?
Edit: so from further reading I can see it doesn't matter which one you switch with. I guess...
Right, parts are pretty cheap. I just don't know how comfortable people would be with it or the best way to do this would be. Either just order the parts and have them sent to me...or have the parts sent to them and then send to me with a prepaid envelope. The idea is to do it as economically as...
Thanks, I've been looking for something similar. One thing tho, the MOSFET listed there wouldn't work for a 3.7v, right? It's a 4.5v gate threshold. http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/1540678-mosfet-n-ch-40v-42a-i-pak-irlu3114zpbf.html <---here's that MOSFET. Which one shows the gate threshold...
So you would then connect the drain to the center post on the atty connector and the positive to the "shell" of the atty? I just assumed the post was positive because every other tutorial I've read shows the positive going to the post.
Maybe.....:glare:
I just want another source than having to buy 1 syringe + blunt tip for $2.50, when I can get syringe's themselves for next to nothing. A 50 pack for $8.50 would surely last me a lifetime (or until I lose them).
