    Protank 2 came apart?

Just got a ProTank 2. Cannot separate the tank from the ends at all. I'm thinking I'll try cold/heat or even a pair of strap wrenches!

First time rebuilding, I have some issues.

Think of a single lane road, only so many vehicles can travel it at the same time. Higher resistance to current. A two lane road you can move twice the amount of traffic. Lower resistance to current. You are moving twice the current (traffic) using two coils versus one coil so resistance per...

    Sound and Fury Signifying... Manipulation

If you know the result you want, you cherry pick the participants so your "statistical results" match what you want. If you want a glowing statistical result of "McDonalds provides good food", then you ask at a McDonalds, not at a vegetarian conference!

fight the temptation to be smoke free

Don't sweat it. Keep vaping and if you want/need a coffin nail then just do it. After the move and every thing settles down, stop buying cigs and go back to vaping exclusively. You are on the right track, so why beat yourself up needlessly?

    2 New Toppers for Provari....

Well I'll see what I can do explaining kanthal. Kanthal comes in different diameters, the higher (thinner wire) the number (gauge), the higher the resistance. Kanthal A-1 Wire Specs: (Ohms Per Inch) •28 AWG- 0.439 Ohms/in, 0.0508 Diameter (in.) •30 AWG- 0.696 Ohms/in, 0.0100 Diameter (in.) •32...

    Interested in RBA with Igo-L

For an RDA I use an IGO L, using micro-coils (do a search for 'micro coils' - close to a thousand posts!) and cotton for a wick. Very easy to do your own coils. Great when I'm sitting here at the computer. Grab a bottle, eight drops and have at it. Out and about I use a Vivi Nova tank or an...

Wow! I thought I was jumping hard when I replaced my 808 starter kits with a Provari! I guess you believe in jumping into the deep end of the pool right at the start !! (G)

    Where to start for dripping?

Another vote for the IGO L. 32 gauge Kanthal and cotton wicks. Easy to learn to rebuild, my coils last a very long time, and the cotton can be replaced in a minute or two with a minimum of fiddling..

Using Atomic RDA with Provari mini

I run a Provari. Use an IGO L for a dripper, and an AGA T2 for an RBA. You rebuild coils and wicks on both. The IGO is very easy to start with, shallow learning curve, inexpensive and overall a good unit. The AGA is a tank unit, and it's only failing is that it is heavy to me!

    I think I want a Provari.....

I've been using a Vivi Nova v2.5 tank. Also available from ProVapes. Top coil, rebuildable, holds about 2.8 ml of juice. Not a single leak, unscrew the top and refill with no fiddling around! Comes with two extra coil/wick assemblies already made up. After several weeks my first coil...

    nitecore intellicharger blows up!

Even a rock can break. I've had my Nitecore a couple of months. If I'm charging a battery I'm right next to it. If I'm not here, then the charger is unplugged!

    My 1st RBA

I use cotton for a wicking material when making micro coils on my IGO L. Just search for "micro coil", there is a long thread on them. Inexpensive, easy to do, easy to get, quick to replace to change flavors or when burnt.

    Should I upgrade to Provari?

Went from an 808 cig-alike to the Provari. Excellent vapor production start to finish. Regulated mod so you shouldn't have to worry about accidents battery wise. Built in ohm checker. Just bought another as a spare for Christmas. Not expecting this one to fail any time in the foreseeable...

    coils

I have a piece of wooden bannister with holes drilled in it (Fostner bits) that holds most of my 'stuff. It's located between me and my monitor on my desk. In the end facing me I drilled a hole using my 1/16th inch bit. When I want a new coil, I insert the bit into the hole, hold the end of...
