    considering the prodigy...

So no, they have not just "failed". They have been accidentally damaged. Big difference. So how do you come to the conclusion that the switch is of lesser quality, when they do not just fail? The only thing you are going on, is that they look better, and I do agree with you on that. They do...

    Prodigy not working

So you're saying that someone has to own a puresmoker product to post here?? Shuning away the possible future customers huh? I would think that prospective customers would be encouraged to use the puresmoker forum to ask questions from current owners, to get their thoughts and insites. So much...

    considering the prodigy...

kinda... depends on the atty more voltage on an 801 make it work like a 510@3.7v more voltage on a 510 make it better, but way hotter sooner, so more burnt taste more voltage on a 901, if it is not completly soaked with ejuice, it will kill it. 901 does not need higher voltage, 3.7-4.2 and it...

    considering the prodigy...

Save yourself some $ and get a Chuck or Little Chuck instead. half the price, and comes in colors . As far as 801, 901, 510 dilemma... here is my take: 510. very good draw, nice warm vapor, but vapor is too hot and burned after 4 good drags, without about 3-4 min cool down time, at 3.7v...

My take on a copper mod (18650, rechargeable in place)

not to rain on your parade, but the pipe design has been done... Fog log has come and gone already, but here are pics, and building diagrams... But very cool to add the USB charger, nice addition! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/22961-fog-log-3.html

    How to spend a Saturday

Good call! The powder coat is some really tough stuff. Hand sanding is not an option. It took me more than 30 minutes to sandblast the same size parts that were single coated, down to bare metal.

    How to spend a Saturday

The mounting hole needed for that switch is almost half inch... the chuck's body is only 7/8 in wide. and that switch goes in 1.2 inches in deep... you would need a hole on the other side for it to stick out a 1/4 inch... it is about 2x too big

    How to spend a Saturday

Already been tried, they suck more than the ratshack switches. read the specs, only good to 100ma @ 30v. Not happening. that switch requires 3 times bigger hole, and will not sit flat at all, and it is too long, it has a depth of 1.1 inches, the chuck body is only .875 inches. also been...

    How to spend a Saturday

I think that you are misunderstanding what you have read about the Chuck and customization... The Chuck's color is customizable, and possibly the ability to add graphics. The chuck itself, meaning the components(body, end design, switch etc...), are not customizable.

What are my *HIGH VOLTAGE* PV Options?!?

by "unique" you mean...this crazy hunk of metal welded to the side of a flashlight? and it is $135?!?! The Chuck and Little Chuck at $75 are a much better value, and look better too, IMO...

Whats the Best HIGH Voltage Mod??

Are we forgetting about the chucks?? Why get a chuck?... 1. Best PV out there. Hands down. 2. Hand made, hand finished...Much better than the GG. 3. Working switch... Much better than a prodigy 4. Copper and brass construction... No voltage drop like ALL the others, they use...

    How to spend a Saturday

lol, I thought i'd have to... but the atty was so bad, it really was ok. it was really good from about 7.75v to untill the 7.56 when it died. I tried a real full 5v home made passthrough on my normal atty's and it is too hot and could choke a horse. This was nice, untill it's sad end.

    How to spend a Saturday

I had a brand new 901 atty that was not playing nice, almost no vapor, very little flavor. So I vaped it at 8.4v, two 3.7 CR123A's fully charged to 4.2v each, in my Chuck. worked really good for 8 hours solid, untill i let the cart get just slightly under soaking sloppy wet. then it fried the...

    Protege or Little Chuck?

I cannot speak of the protege bacause I do not have one, but as far as the Little Chuck, here are my reasons, not in any order: 1. One year warrantry 2. Better conductivity, less voltage drop, because it is built entirely of Brass and copper. 3. Nice knurled endcap, easier to remove than...
