That's what it was doing until I changed to the UltraFire batteries. Like I said it's not a biggie, I can tell when the batteries are going dead without a light LOL, but just found it odd. Of course if there is an oddity to find, I will find it :lol: -

Ok interesting observation on batteries, the Buzz and the way the LED works. So my understanding, if I have this right is the LED gets more blue the higher the voltage setting and more red the lower the voltage setting. It has nothing to do with the power left in the batteries, but turns and... -

So glad to help! It really does make a huge difference. I did the same thing with the BE112s too. Pair it up with the ability to set the voltage on the Buzz to the perfect spot for each atty and I have several attys I can use again now.- WitchWay

Oh no, so sorry VM! That's the same thing I went through though. They were great at first, then kept air locking with half a cart of juice stuck in the end. The blue foam does stop that to some extent, but since it flows more freely than the filler it is also more prone to leaking. I'm sure...- WitchWay

It has a 901 connector on it, but no air holes so you have to use a 901-808 adapter to use the KR808 cartos or a 901-510 adapter to use the 510s. I've used the 510s on it, but since I like those on my Lazer mods, it isn't necessary to use them on the Buzz. My favorite on the Buzz is a 302...- WitchWay

It has to do with the round screw head in the adapter on the Buzz pushing the center pin of either the atty or the adapter, depending what one you have on, off to the side and then it reads it as a short, which is why you get the red led.
