    VaporChase Review: The Innokin U-Can

That definitely sounds like a defective one. Neither of mine leak in the slightest. I'd have a talk with the vendor and see if you can't get it exchanged, or at least to have him send out a replacement.

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Not yet. Got a backlog I'm trying to plow through. Maybe this coming weekend if I feel brave enough. :)

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Good to hear about the frosted tank, I'll have to keep that one in mind. Review for the U-DCT likely won't be 'til the weekend at the earliest. Need some time with this to put it through its paces, test its mettle over the course of a few days, try a clean and dry-burn with it, etc. One thing...

Cinnamon Juices and Plastic Tanks/Clearos.... Something doesn't add up...

Will do. I've been vaping it on and off all day and I must say that so far it's holding up to my Key Lime Pie quite well in terms of performance. Again, still get some wicking issues that require a tip and/or primer puff to solve periodically, but it's beating standard cartos quite handily...

    Junk Science Sucks!

I don't really think that the fight to permit vaping indoors in any private establishment is relevant to be honest. That's a matter strictly for the owners and managers of said establishments to decide. The fight here is one of legitimacy and education, in part so that those private...

How *NOT* to steep your e-juice

I like certain variants of it. The original Ruyan one I'm not really big on, but Halo's Tribeca, despite using a similar base tobacco, is extremely good with a good balance of tobacco and caramel and vanilla, while Maple Leaf Vapes' has a more traditional Virginia tobacco base and more emphasis...

So kind of a sweeter clove? It is like a sugary sweetness, or more like the sweetness of a Virginia tobacco?

Vaping Mail Show 'N' Tell: What did the Postman bring you today?

Pluid, bk? As for me, two U-DCTs and a SmokTech carto punch arrived last night. The carto punch is a pain in the .... to use, mostly owing to the really crunchy threads and the fact that it's harder to gauge where to position the carto because the punch hole is actually further to one side...

How *NOT* to steep your e-juice

RY4 is pretty ubiquitous. Unfortunately it's also probably one of the most varied juices in existence, with just about everyone's recipe differing from one another ensuring that one vendor's RY4 is probably going to be different from someone else's.

It's probably too little too late, but you could always point them to: Indoor Vapor Air Quality Study: IVAQS Project ClearStream Study: ClearStream by FlavourArt | ClearStream by FlavourArt And then there's this video I did on E-cig misconceptions for Vast Vapor in which I talk briefly about...

Cinnamon Juices and Plastic Tanks/Clearos.... Something doesn't add up...

There may be a alternative you might be interested in. I'm just testing out the SmokTech U-DCT right now (just arrived last night so I haven't had enough time to really evaluate it), but it comes with fillerless cartos -- basically, it's set up kind of like the old school first-gen CE2s in that...

    Jugheads

Although I've heard of kreteks (although I knew them as bidis) I'm not sure exactly what they're supposed to taste like other than clove. But I could try and make something if I knew the components.

A "Reparable" eGo Drip Atty? Meet the Cannon!... Discuss!

Looks kind of like the iMist atomizer. It doesn't look so much like it's repairable as it simply has replaceable heads, ala Vivi Nova/Stardust 2/etc. In which case an RBA is still a better idea.

Or maybe make a version with either a tip extension fitting for friction-fit needle tips or Luer-lock type of thing so you can tack on a longer needle when required.

Cinnamon Juices and Plastic Tanks/Clearos.... Something doesn't add up...

Quick thumbnail sketch of a few plastic types that might help. PET, PTFE, LDPE and HDPE are all safe to store caustic juices in, but their lack of rigidity make them poor materials for tanks unless you make the walls very thick. Of these, only PET is completely transparent. PTFE and LDPE are...

    Re-using disposable cartos?

I used to clean my cartos to try and get the most use out of them. In the end though I found that the return on investment just wasn't worth the time expended to extend the life of a carto whose post-clean performance wasn't nearly as good as it was when new. It's doable, absolutely, and if...

    VaporChase Review: The Innokin U-Can

That would probably depend on the location of the fill hole and the type of RBA. Genny RBAs, probably because either the terminal posts and/or mesh wick would probably be in the way. RBA tanks may, again depending on the location of the fill hole.

How *NOT* to steep your e-juice

Yep, it's kinda cool the way it works. I have to do that whenever I'm making a batch of ethyl maltol solution. After I put the crystals in PG and heat for 10 seconds in the microwave (in a glass bottle), I take it out and the bottle is luke warm, but very quickly after I start shaking, it gets...

    VaporChase Review: The Innokin U-Can

A glass window would have been awesome, agree. The needle is only about 1/3", so pretty short. Not long enough to fill clearos with recessed seals unfortunately, but good enough for clearos with open reservoirs, tanks with fill holes at the rim, or eGo-T type tanks so you don't have to take...
