    Mine is a V2 and doesn't remember wattage; this seems to be an issue for some of them. At any rate, I only use it with 18650/1x18350 (mostly in "mini" mode) right now as well, but that's specifically because of the VW/RMS/Stacked problem I mentioned.

    Pretty much this. We're so used to cheap stuff coming out of China and basically being stuck with the device if it's not performing properly. At least Joyetech is doing the responsible thing here, especially since the problem for which the recall was issued doesn't sound like a critical one...

    Only if I get sent one. :D The specs look alright. According to SLB's site, it appears to come with both an eGo adapter and a USB charging adapter. For whatever reason, the current number of puffs readout is labelled as "Prepaid." Which is good. 'Cos I don't want to get my puffs on credit.

    Quick question, Scubabatdan has been experimenting with porous ceramic rods for wicking. Any plans on trying that out and/or carrying it? Though they tend to be brittle, it sounds like these might be a very good (and easier to use) alternative to SS mesh (with or without Pyrex tubing).
