    Kayfun LITE

This little nugget of wisdom solved my leaking issues. I literally spent hours trying to figure this out. I tried different wick/coil setups, different o-rings, different juices, different amounts of wick, placing the wick in different places, and it would still leak like a sieve through the air...

Precise ELA Telescoping Mod by Super-T!

Just curious... why does everyone want to get a flat bottom for the ELA? Does it have difficulty standing upright with a heavy RBA on it?

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Thanks for the replies. The basic feeder is closed and the mouth piece is closed when I fill it, but I do get a bit of gurgling after filling. A little juice seems to leak out of the bottom as well. I have two of these so I can swap the top nut to see if the oring is the problem. What other...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Update: I've been vaping on this the entire week and it's still working well. The only trouble I've had is that when I first fill it, it gurgles a little and sometimes a little liquid leaks through the air hole. I'm not sure why that happens. I'm interested to know why it would cause shorts if...

    Ithaka clone troubles

The problem is that the Ithaka came assembled, but it wasn't assembled properly. The center pin was not tightened enough to the ceramic housing, and when I screwed the ceramic housing assembly and basic feeding system into the base, the center pin would loosen, causing shorts. I watched this...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Good news. I watched this video carefully, disassembled the entire Ithaka, re-assembled it, making sure to align the center pin exactly as you suggested and as in the video, tightening the post with the o-ring snug with pliers, and it worked without any short or issues. The post not being...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Okay, big update. In my frustration and thinking it might be the unit itself, I tried building on another Ithaka clone from another vendor. Same problem. It came assembled but the center pin was not tight, so I tightened it. When I screwed down the ceramic housing assembly on to the feeding...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Thanks for the detailed replies, dwcraig1. I'm going to watch the videos and follow your advice and try to fix it this afternoon. Hopefully I can get down to the bottom of it because when it works, it works better than other rbas I own. It's a beast with the dual highlander setup at sub ohm.

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

This is where things get a bit confusing for me. The nut that sits inside the ceramic assembly is loose. How do I snug it when it just sits in there loosely. Also, when you're tightening the ceramic assembly on the shaft where the oring sits, how do you center it? If it screws in, shouldn't it...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Just wanted to add that the bottom oring pictured above was lifted up to secure the wires but I slid it down before taking the picture. The center post pin is the brass piece on the bottom, right? It doesn't seem to be damaged in any way. I've tried leaving it a bit loose and tight, doesn't seem...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

I'm having big trouble with my Ithaka clone from FT and I can't seem to figure out why. I've watched setup videos carefully and I can't find anything wrong with my setup. This is what happens. After I screw the atomizer with the ceramic piece and basic feeding system into the base, I tighten the...

    Ithaka clone troubles

This video is exactly what I needed to see. Following it fixed my problem. I should have realized Bishopheal's video was more for people already familiar with the Ithaka, and although he was fairly comprehensive, there were some bits that were made clearer in the video you linked. I thank you...

    Ithaka clone troubles

It is the non resistant wire that is snapping. I can see it glowing red on the side of the atty where it goes down the channel. The ready made wire has a piece of razor wire in the center and then the legs which are supposed to be non resistance wire.

    Ithaka clone troubles

This might be my problem. I followed the Dual Highlander setup by Bishopheals on Youtube, where he makes an extra wrap with the non-res wire to take away tension. I'm not blaming him, maybe it's something I'm doing wrong. But it's on that side that I'm wrapping the non-res wire one time and...

    Ithaka clone troubles

For some reason, the wires going to the positive connection are constantly breaking. They've heated up to the point of melting the o-ring. I think it has something to do with tightening down the atomizer into the base as sometimes when I feel it heating up too fast in the bottom button of my PV...

    New Projects by Atmomixani

Thanks for all of the answers about the brass RBA. I'll take a look at the options mentioned and make a choice. I'm currently waiting for my Nemesis to arrive. I had it shipped to my mother's house because that's the billing address for the cc I used. I didn't want the brass Nemesis to sell...
