Need help choosing my next RBA.

Very nice. Thank you for that. I'm sure that the DID clones are not as well-built, but if they are indeed clones, I'd think it would be wise to try a clone as it is much cheaper to see if it addresses any of the concerns that I have about my existing RBAs that I listed in OP. I will take a look...

The mystery of the draining battery?

That's weird because it's the opposite of the problem that I am having. The all SS RBA seems to be draining the battery much more slowly than the Lavagen. The only SS part of the Lavagen is the RBA drop-in. Maybe the length of time I'm holding down the button plays into this since the draw is...

The mystery of the draining battery?

Are they made from different materials or is one of them totally SS and the other not? And does one have an airy draw while the other one has a tighter draw?

The mystery of the draining battery?

Okay update everyone after several days of testing... It certainly appears as if the Lavagen is the cause of this phenomena. I would like to clarify that my Lavagen is a drop-in, meaning it is not all stainless steel. It uses an already existing Lavatank top and bottom piece and a tank from...

Need help choosing my next RBA.

Oh who on Earth sells the original DID? I googled it but all I can find are DID clones...

Need help choosing my next RBA.

I have heard good things about the DID. I will check into it.. Thank you for the suggestion. :)

Need help choosing my next RBA.

Good to see you xsphat and I'm happy you're still here on ECF and have ventured into RBAs. There are really so many options for RBAs and I'm unfamiliar with the ones that you mentioned. The reason to line up the airhole is so that it doesn't leak or start 'gurgling' while you are vaping. It is a...

Need help choosing my next RBA.

Does it allow you to align the air hole? What would be the advantage of having the wick in the center?

The mystery of the draining battery?

Thanks for all of your comments. I will address them one by one. If the Lavagen is causing a lot of resistance, it will heat up an inordinate amount as you're using it. Those electrons have to go somewhere; the energy lost by draining the battery would be lost as heat. Check the Lavagen as...

The mystery of the draining battery?

The Provari allows you to check the current battery level. The values are from 3.0 - 4.2., with 4.2 being fully charged. Once it drains down to around 3.2, the led on the button starts blinking to let you know it is at 'low battery'. Normally, I keep two batteries on my charger. In the...

Need help choosing my next RBA.

Yes the Lavagen does offer the ability to line the airhole with where you want it. It is amazing that this is not possible on any other RBAs. Haha maybe you and I should go into business and create one?

The mystery of the draining battery?

Hello everyone: I've got a very strange issue and I thought I'd ask my fellow vapers to see if anyone knows if this is possible. Here's what's happening: I had an issue where the 18650 batteries on my Provari were draining faster than normal. Batteries that are around one year old would only...

Need help choosing my next RBA.

Hello everyone: I'm in the market for a new RBA and any assistance would be appreciated. I already have some experience with RBAs as I own a Lavagen and a ZAP. I have some issues with the ZAP and I'm trying to find a decent RBA that does not have those issues. My main concerns with the ZAP...

Have anyone tried Johnson Creek & where do u rank them?

You should contact them. They will work with you. They have excellent liquids and the quality of the flavorings they use is unparalleled, IMHO.

    TPA/TFA Recipes only!

Okay I tried Aqua Berry Blast and On the Rocks and they are both fantastic. I altered them slightly, however. I didn't have 'tart and sour' flavoring so I omitted that. Also, I love heavily mentholated liquids so I used 10% menthol. Finally, I used 1 DPML Ethyl Maltol in both liquids to help...

    TPA/TFA Recipes only!

Okay I tried mixing with 15% mango only, 3 ml batch, steeped it one week, you can taste the mango but it's too light, not very flavorful, and I don't think you would want to use it as the top flavor note in any mix, IMHO. It simply does not have enough rich mango flavor. You can use it in small...

    TPA/TFA Recipes only!

Yes, I think it might be weak as I've tried it mixed with other fruit flavors and I have yet to taste the mango. I'm going to try an only TFA mango flavor and see if I can get a good percentage on what tastes good. That way I can adjust the mango % in the other mixed fruit flavors.

    TPA/TFA Recipes only!

Okay... reporting back after steeping and vaping a few tanks on my lavagen... it's really good. If you like fruit flavors, this is definitely awesome. I used Juicy Peach and not regular Peach, but it's definitely going to be in my regular rotation. Heavily mentholated, of course. Thanks...

What percentage do you mix yours at? I tried it at 15% and it was too strong, slightly acrid.
