Didn't realize Ego has a vv now, and they have it in 650. I might get two of those. The Ego isn't very sturdy, I might pick up three in case one stops working. Thanks for the links.
Batteries are allowed on airplanes. I've carried my Provari on several flights before. Laptops have batteries. Cameras have batteries. Cellphones have batteries. They are not listed as a prohibited item.
That's my dilemma entirely. The 510 batteries that most look like cigarettes don't last long at all. I've been using big mods for so long I'm not sure if there are any advancements technology wise. Is there a small sized pv that has a longer lasting battery nowadays? I know two Egos would last...
I'd like to say that I'm not terribly worried about anything being confiscated through border crossings, even though it is always a possibility. I think the best thing to do is to get a couple of egos, which look more like cigarettes, still have a decent battery life, and won't stick out like a...
That's too bad, you're awfully limiting yourself to some of the most beautiful parts of the world. And that's coming from someone who lived in South East Asia for almost five years.
Hello everyone:
I'm going back to South East Asia for the first time in over four years. The last time I was there I was a smoker. Now I'm a vaper, but I'm kind of worried about using my PV in South East Asia. I'm specifically traveling through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, in that order...
Thanks for clarifying for me. I don't see any coil in the picture of the burrito above. Is it wrapped around the mesh? I've been using a small blow torch from Harborfreight to oxidize the mesh. It could have been a short. I might give it another go in a couple of weeks when I have to change out...
My life has changed so dramatically since I started vaping over three years ago that if the hammer fell, I would stop vaping all together. I wouldn't be able to go back to smoking cigarettes, I run eight miles daily nowadays, and I wouldn't risk that by picking up a cigarette under any circumstance.
Oh is the burrito wick supposed to be used by itself or with a second horizontal silica wick for the wrap? I used it like a single wick set up with the coil wrapped around the burrito and that might have been the problem.
Ok thanks for the info. I ended up trying both but the burrito one had a very harsh flavor and I'm not sure if it was wicking enough or what was wrong. Ohm were reading 1.9 or so with six wraps and I primed it first but it was just harsh. The pic I dug up at the other place showed a ss mesh...
Hey everyone:
So I've tried to silica wick and I think I like it the best because it's easy. I've had one problem I'd like to address and see if anyone has any advice. It seems like when the tank is nearly full (about 80%), it seems like the silica wick is overwicking, meaning that it's pulling...
Ok thanks for that information. A couple of questions, if you don't mind. How do I go about doing a dry burn correctly? Also, if a coil requires changing more often than the wick, what happens that lets you know the coil needs to be changed? Finally, how can a wick be over oxidized? I took the...
