    You may find some tobaccos, vanillas and highly concentrated flavors need a steep- others like fruit are good to go off the bat

    I mix it straight or as an additive- 5% is a good starting point, the thing with Vanillin is you will want to let it steep for a week or so to reach its true flavor. you could go: Vanillin 5% Ethyl Malto 1% Sweet Cream 5%

    I should have toasted almond arriving today-- the list on this thread says 15%, on another thread several users of toasted almond that I respect on ECF said after 2% you get a burnt taste. I will mix up some 2% and amend the list if it turns out well to reflect the lower % :toast:
