Why you guys think Provari is expensive??

I didn't have any issue with the lavatube when I first saw/read about it - I figured someone had decided to make their own version of the ProVari, and more power to them. Then I read that the company selling them here had actually bought a ProVari and sent it over, specifically to have a company...

    Forum Banners

I had someone ask me if I got paid when they clink on my banner. Heh.

    Walking Dead

Jeesh. You made me panic. I thought you meant it had been canceled, not just put off for a bit. I can live with that.

Why you guys think Provari is expensive??

If a less expensive PV had worked for me, I probably wouldn't have spent the money on a ProVari. Unfortunately the several I tried didn't quite make it. They were fine, most of the time, but when I needed more they couldn't provide it.

    A craving, after a year....

Nah, I won't smoke, it just surprised me coming out of left field like that. I haven't had any cravings at all, and just boom - right between the eyes.

    A craving, after a year....

Just a few days - less than two weeks - short of a year away from the time I smoked, and yesterday hit me with the strongest craving I've had for a cigarette since I quit. I was watching a movie, and the actor lit up a cig and took a drag. I could feel the smoke. My fingers itched to pull a...

    Walking Dead

Huh? What? I DVR'd it and haven't watched it yet. Crap. I shouldn't have clicked this link. Now I'm going to be wondering all day.

    Worst Vaping products of 2011

Seriously, I wouldn't worry about it. I've bought three kits for friends and family members, and they're all still using them and perfectly happy with them. They're also happy to "borrow" my spare ProVari whenever I'm around, but the eGo-T keeps them off cigarettes, gives them the sensation they...

My English Composition Paper on Electronic Cigarettes. A+

Hmmm. I'm always suspicious when someone asks me to click a link. I'm more suspicious when the link has something like '/shopping/' in the URL. My suspicion gets another bump when I go there directly and see such literary classics as "It can be a demanding project to choose the suitable terrain...

    immediate assistance required please

It could be worse - you could do what I do, and walk into a room with a determined stride, only to stop and look confused and say to myself I know I came in here for something. What was it again???

    Anyone ever tried...

I definitely wouldn't do it with any dishwashing detergent in there, and I don't think it would get in there enough to do any good, with or without detergent.

    Worst Vaping products of 2011

This thread is kind of funny. If you took out the comments and just listed the hardware, it would be a who's who of the Newbie forum recommended hardware over the last year.

Capacitors What They Do In A Circuit

My company makes ultra low power infrared cameras designed to go on satellites. Power requirements are strict - satellites don't have extra power to spare - but heat dissipation requirements are even more strict. Excess heat can blind the camera, masking all the IR the camera is supposed to be...

    immediate assistance required please

I've looked at the circuitry in mine and there's nothing in there that should make noise. If its making noise there's a problem somewhere. As far as the charger, I'm told the 18490 is the same thing as the 18500. If it lists either, go for it.

    Help!!!

Isopropyl alcohol is an approved solvent for cleaning printed circuit boards. It's nonconductive, and it's hygroscopic (soaks up water and carries it away), but it does leave a white, powdery residue. My personal preference is for ethanol - the same kind of alcohol that's in vodka - because it...

    Ego and provari

I can say "had" - past tense - because I used to use them, but don't any more and gave them away. Did you have questions?

    Provari tips?

I worried about watts and all that when I first got mine, but eventually just gave it up and adjusted till it felt right. I like loads of vapor, slightly warm but definitely not hot. With a 3.0 ohm Boge carto that means 4.0 to 4.2 volts. Since I found the carto I like, I just reorder the same...

I've read that people have been having problems with the Boge cartos what alternatives are there?

I've seen a new pyrex tank that I'm considering, but regular polycarbonate tanks crack with my juice. And I'm not changing my juice to suit hardware.

I've read that people have been having problems with the Boge cartos what alternatives are there?

The only issues I've had with my Boge cartos is sometimes the juice doesn't want to soak in the first time I fill. I use a straight pin and pull the filler away from the edges, working my way around, it soaks in and then it's good from then on. I just wish they lasted longer.
