    Nah, they'll probably send you that old one that kicked around my garage until I returned it. It worked, mostly, though. Hehe. Of course it'll be in mint condition, and if you have any glitches, they'll take care of it. They always have. But most of them don't.

    I think the problem tends to be that people are changing several things at once, and they don't know what is caused by which (if any) change. Quitting cigarettes gives one set of reactions, and it can be very different reactions depending on how long someone smoked, how much they smoked, etc...

    You'll get weirdness with other batteries. They don't put out power as fast as the ProVari needs, and it trips the protection circuit on the PV. I've always stuck with the recommended batteries.

    Yeah, I kinda figured there were parts left out of the story. This is a lesson both ways - some electronics will have problems, and the ProVari isn't an exception to that rule. And some people will never be happy, no matter how well they're treated.
