    practical this atty was rebuild..was enlarged the holes from ceramic, and put some precision pin into. And coil it`s solder to and other two pin male goes into female.After this modding is simple to change coil, just need to pull up broken coil, and put new one.

    no..not voltage is problem, current you need to reduce.For this need that resistor. :) And that diagram works 100% tested and made a lot of mods with that. :)

    every booster IC have a FB pin.From this pin must connect a resistor devider connected between FB pin to +Out one, and FB to GND second resistor.Value of this resistor is write in datasheet.

    My schematic is based on lm2596 datasheet.I don`t use module allready made, i make custome PCB see schematic and drawing PCB in Eagle.I don`t know that module what you have, but is conformity with my schematic aproxim.

    you solder well that IC to heatshink? this linear IC need a good heat sink, tends to hot, you can cook a egg for this IC :D
