    it`s important to say what carto/atty use. If use 1.25 or 1.5 ohmi on lavatube..3-4 hours last the batt. A li-ion batt is fully charger after 2-3 charge/discharge. Anyway try to buy some AW high drain, or panasonic.

    if that batt has damage electronic it`s possible to repair or change electronic PCB. In my town i repair batt`s At the first short circuit on out electronic die :)

    use PTR8100, is step down must use 2 batts series connected. PTN04050C step up works with 1 batt and forget UCC283T-ADJ it`s a liniar regulator waste a lot of power on heatsink. For first two module you find schematic on forum :).

    the best VV ever is an step down regulator, you in with 7.4V instead 3.7V on booster, because that on step down regulator have a lot of power.

    it`s a cheap and no good solution.USB from PC have 5V/500mah, for some atty/carto like dual coil 1.25 1.5ohmi it`s not enough. If use a IC charger+batt have Ibat+Iusb enough for everything
