    My friend use both batts protected. Why? Because stacked cells tends to discharge different, It`s possible at 1 batt you have 3.7V at an other 3.6V, for example, and at the 2.8V 2.9V maybe can be a problem.

    you people are wrong. When fire PV batteries it`s no shorting, atty drain 1-2 A from batt, in short circuit this current will be 10 A or more. A li-ion batts must to not be descharge under 2.75V and over charged up to 4.2V.

    Step up mods it`s no good for vapping. It`s much problem to put a booster in a small tube. I don`t thing to make boosters in a near future, small power on out, many problems...A booster it`s almost unprotected at short circuit..need an extra PTC fuse and no guaranty of safe. Step down have all...

    Wrong..No explosion of stacking batts if you use a good safety mod and not make short circuit. In bad condition may explode li-ion ,li-po staked or not, even a Ego batt may explode. Depends of mod and of user.

    :D probably it`s about trust and money, it`s hard for me to believe no one like this tube mod:confused:. A very good electronics mod, safe, easy tube. Maybe it`s not stainless steel but at this money you get the best you can find.
