    yeah we're hanging in, got a bunch of water drawn up for drinking, hygine and flushing, non perishables and whatnot just in case. Pouring like the dickens outside but winds aren't supposed to pick up til this evening around 45 mph with gusts up to 55, so less than those south of us. Hoping...

    Thank goodness we are inland enough that we don't have to worry about the ocean, I don't think we've ever had an evacuation in the area I live in, but we've got everything ready just in case its a long while before we get power.

    Well they are saying this will be the worst hurricane to hit Maine since Bob and possibly Gloria (when I was 3!) so I'm thinking we may be without power for a few days possibly once it hits Sunday/Monday. Thank goodness for car chargers!
