    A little more info... Inositol is sometimes called Vitamin B-8. Caffeine depletes the body's supply of inositol. It has been used to treat depression and OCD. I have access to any medical journal ever published, so I will definitely be checking into this.

    Saw on NBC Nightly news that a supplement called inositol can help prevent dysplastic lung cells from turning malignant in current and former smokers. It's available at health food stores.

    It's likely the sinus infection you mentioned in the other thread...those germs are nasty. Stink from the mouth and nose is common is sinus infections, and if you've had antibiotics, they can cause icky tastes, too.
