For your info, I am using a red/black trustfire 2400 mah, and it fits just fine, in fact, there is room for a battery 5mm longer in this mod, and still leave room for the spring to compress some. But you do want the majority of the batteries...

    I imagine the single coil 1.7 smoktechs are built very similar to the boges, with the coil in the bottom. The dual coils have one coil above the other, so I worry about the wrap around the higher coil not getting saturated enough. Anyone try a dual coil on the BF?

    Hey Lenny, I was using a dual coil xl metal carto. It was definitely wobbly. I put a 510 atty (unfortunately I discovered it was a 3.2 ohm atty) and it fits much snugger on there, but with a bit of force (quite a bit) i can get it to wobble, but I dont see this to be a problem at all.
