Hi Bryce - :)
No problem and thanks for your interest - we'll have quite a few more things to show hopefully soon too so keep an eye out on this and a few new threads.... :vapor:
I'm really sorry Uneverno :( I have just managed to dig your email up and it was accidentally put into a 'processed' folder, but looking back through our records I can see that no replacement was ever sent to you after I had promised. No excuses - I'm very sorry about this error.
Your...
That's the 3rd request for that today already!!
So anyway I went one better and found a swiss army knife with a fold out calculator and PV all in one - problem is there wasn't any room left for the tweezers....:tongue::D
Hello Andy - good to see you my friend! :D
LOL
I'm pleased to inform you the Don will be an MP3 free zone...
EDIT: Anyone who actually would like an all-in-one MP3 player/PV please contact me via email and I will put those thoughts to right see what I can do.... :D
Hi Shatner,
We've been making some very slight alterations to the 510 adapter so apologies for the delay but wanted to send you the latest update.
The good news is we are finished now so should ship tomorrow now.....;)
Don Update:
We've decided to increase the diameter of the Don by 1mm. This will increase the overall strength and allow for the body to be constructed from aluminium which will inevitably be lighter than stainless steel.
As well as being lighter, the other overall benefits to this will also...
Hi BR5495 - :)
The 510 connector still screws in from the outside but we have made a few adjustments to it such as adding notches so that it can be removed easily. ;)
Hi Mart -
thanks for the link - I will do some further research into this but suspect as they don't have a protection circuit built in would no doubt fit. :)
Hi Mart - :)
Yes indeed it should do unless it is much larger than the standard protected 18650's - If you have the dimensions I could double check this for you?
Hi Unverno, :)
Yes, the Don will take any one of the 3 brass atomiser fittings (901/510/801) at the tapered end and will take the switch at the other end.
The sleeve parts will indeed be available separately for current Mako owners. :)
Hi Shatner,
We have recently had an issue with a brand new, different style of 510 atomiser connection which has recently come to market and caused a similar problem for someone with the draw - this is the only possible variable I can think of.
I think the best option would be if you could...
Hi Shatner,
This isn't how the draw is supposed to be - are you using both o-rings with the 5V battery and could you let me know how far the travel is on the switch before it engages?
Thanks,
Tim:)
ROLL UP ROLL UP!!!!! :vapor:

Well I'll leave it at that Candre....check the vid above - if you're not chaining it these batteries will offer a half decent runtime.:vapor:
We could argue til the cows come home and of course I agree that li-ions have some advantages... however when it comes to stacking unprotected li-ions vs...
Hi John :)
Yes some people like to talk the talk before they've even tried walking the walk....
Here is a recent video from someone who has walked the walk:
YouTube - Mako Maksi 5 volt edition.mov
At the latter end of discharge I'd far rather be vaping at a strong 4.8V than a wimpy 3.7V.... still can't see how this is disingenuous just a preference.
The statement which I found to be particularly baiting was not your preferences of li-ion over nimh, but insinuating we use dirty tactics...
The Maksi uses a 400mah 4.8V NIMH battery..... however when full charged it is at around 5.6-5.8V..... I think this makes it closer to 5V would you not agree?
I'd like to point out that the 400mah is a true rating and not like many of the other batteries which state overly inflated mah...
