Just taken a closer look at the Chuck.... I can see some similarity in the endcap, but the difference from what I can see is that the Mako atomiser cap has a wider arc, and a thinner rim.... obviously the diameter and depth is most probably very different also.
If you ask me, overall, the...
Hi Apple,
I haven't really studied the Chuck - is it really similar?
I guess there is only so much you can do with a cylindrical end cap without making it look totally obscure...... I've tried to keep abreast of all the designs coming out so to avoid any obvious faux pas, but it's getting...
Hi Raven :)
Yes the prototype in the earlier videos was just a working model, but the latest video is the finished look. Both the button and the atomiser end cap have been made slightly larger/shape altered which was something we originally planned for.
This doesn't add much to the overall...
Hi Youtube :) - yes it is quite practical for travelling or if you put the device in your pocket, although if you are travelling for long periods or it's going to be stowed away, obviously always best practice to remove the batteries/atty altogether with any device.
Wow I just noticed the list...
Hi YoMike, :)
Yes you are correct - the vent hole is located at the button end so in the event of a battery giving of gasses, the hole allows for the pressure to be released at the bottom end, away from the users face.
The midi and the maksi will both utilise protected 3.7V batteries, but...
In the words of Alexander: 'It (the minno) makes me feel good about myself'..... don't know what he was driving at with that comment?? :p
I'll try and get some more pics/vid up with the other options asap for you all....;)
I'm actually beginning to believe that you have actually grown A...
Thanks e-pipeman :) - we're just finalising a couple more things tomorrow and then should start a small trial production batch early next week if all goes according to plan.
Most of the first issues will go off to reviewers and testers and then hopefully by the end of next week we'll have...
Yes indeed :)..... the midi is built perfectly for 2 x cr2's for the 6 V option.... and of course there is the 3.7V option but will probably require a couple of spacers....
True it looks to me like the kind of dirty words that mathematicians use to swear with....
MAKO UPDATE:
Should hopefully have a finished photo of the Mako uploaded tomorrow all going to plan..... ;)
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Shiver me timbers - the pirate look would be sweet True - go for the haggard Keith Richards look and if you can't shut the mouthy bird up tell Polly she can walk the plank..... pieces of eight, pieces of eight..... arrhhhhh :p:D
Hey True - I hope that I'll be able to send you a trial production model for testing by the end of the week - but the beard better be good..... we want 'old man of the sea' proportions here.... after all it is a Mako! I can picture it now: Truelove wrestles the Mako.... maybe you could wear a...
Hi Youtube -
You are right - Alex has a lot of fun with his wife and girlfriend..... 8-o:p
Thanks for the nice words I only hope the Mako can live up to Alex's hype.... (oh and his beard)! :p
How fast does it grow True? I think you might need some fertiliser at this rate..... you got a...
Hi CKC :)
LOL - yes, the midi will be built to take either 2 x CR2 for the 6V option or the 14500 for the 3.7V option..... still haven't confirmed 100%, but the 14500's may require a spacer to work, however, if we can get around that we will. ;)
We're hoping to have the official release at the end of the month (if not before), but will try and post here closer to the time with regards pricing and options......
Should have some more pic's of the 'finished' version this coming week with any luck and will try and get some black ones done...
In fact you've hit the nail on the head with that post Lisa - this was exactly what was going through my mind when I first read the original thread opener..... good to see no harm done though and GG bunnyland is restored to its former bliss....... :)
