    Just got back from a trip, now it's catch up time ;) @ 'Whoppin': We found heat is the main (not only) culprit w/ the juice turning dark, so yeah, it could be a short. Chain vaping can also lead to that among other factors.

    No problem, I've had a similar thing happen before and it was the wick needing replaced. Yes, still here! I tend to hide out in the modders or RBA forums. I'm on way too many forums and am trying to ease off but it's hard ;)

    Are you sure the coil isn't burning into the mesh? I find that over time w/ multiple dry burns, it will after about that long and the wick needs replaced.

    Ahh, the old change in the pocket... sorry to hear. I'm OCD about not doing that but it's easy to forget! As for cleaning, maybe a metal finisher or jeweler could help maintain the satin finish? Someone may chime in w/ a better idea but I'd be careful trying to polish it.

    The newest Orion's come w/ glass tanks so it should be safe. The earlier ones had some type of plastic so I'm not sure if they'd mix well..

    Just a word of caution when twisting coils; you essentially cut the resistance in half. So... say you have a 1ohm coil (single) using a certain gague/certain # of wraps. If you replicate that w/ a twisted coil, you'll have roughly .5ohms! They do work well just realize that before twisting.

    Nice video, I know some enlarged the air hole and loved it while others wish they hadn't. Glad to hear it worked well in your favor. I usually favor a smaller air hole but something in the NGP is lacking while I do like it... may have to try it!

    Make sure you have at least a couple threads showing on the nut/screw for the positive post, otherwise, tighten that nut down a little. That usually cures the top hot spot.
