    The old theory was the lower mesh counts worked better for VG; wrong! A thick, tightly wrapped 500 mesh wick wicks better.

    Bingo. I posed the question on another forum on why our juice turns dark so we delved into it. We found heat is the culprit. If I don't chain vape I find my juice stays relatively clear.

    You know, I hear this all the time, but I don't get it. The flavor is stronger in a Genisis but I don't feel the need to lower my nic. I've been vaping 18mg for almost three years and yes, even chain vape that in a Genisis.

    While I don't have a mechanical mod, here are some good safety tips: 1) Never stack batteries 2) Use IMR batteries 3) Know the resistance per ohm/inch of the different kanthal gauges. I never like going very far below 1.5ohms myself. 4) Always test w/ a meter before firing.

    @ 'evil': Stock air hole is 1mm @ 'vapor': Oh no... hate to hear that. I'd contact 'uriddle', he had success w/ cleaning his. You may or may not but it's worth a shot.

    Yeah, it really depends on your model. If it's a top fed atty (coil on bottom) you probably won't get the warmth you crave. If it's a bottom fed you can, more so w/ certain atty's than others.
