NGP help pls
If you use a thicker gague (28, 30) you'll need more wraps. You're cutting the resistance in half by twisting. For example, if I use a single wrap coil of 32g w/ 3/4 wraps and get 1.8ohms, a twisted coil of the same gauge and wraps would be roughly .9ohms. Imagine if you did a twisted 4/3... -

I passed the first round as I think it's best to wait for revision 2 or 3 on anything vaping related ;) I don't like the 1.5mm air hole, although that can be modded easily.. tank looks interesting. I'll be curious to see how people get on w/ it..- Turbo

A guy named 'willpro' did the cotton before coil method a long time ago. As long as it stays wet I reckon you're ok. My understanding it's to avoid shorts. -

Glad you got it working to your liking. It's all about experimenting until you do find that sweet spot. To add to my warning, you could use a twisted 30g coil but it'd take more wraps, but either way, you seemed to have figured it out.- Turbo

I've tried a twisted coil in the past but haven't felt the need on the NGP yet. If you do, realize you cut your resistance in half when twisting so be careful. Otherwise, a 2ohm wrap w/ single kanthal would be roughly 1ohm w/ twisted. -

Yeah, not into stacking batteries either. My understanding is with his VV switch is you have to stack to get VV or w/o stacking it's regulated? If so, I do like the idea of regulation w/o stacking. -
