I usually drip 4-5 drops in my 801 through the t-tip. Shake it a few time so any juice on the sides goes down to the bridge and I get a good 10-12 hits. This is using 6v. on a HV atty. I don't know how many you'd get using a standard 801 battery.
Sorry, I don't have an unwrapped version. I took a bunch of pictures and pieced them all together on the CHUCK. Here are the pieces I used. Maybe Mike can put it together for you. I just don't have time.
If your using 6v in the Chuck then it's normal to be killing attys constantly. I would not hold the button for 10 seconds though. If the atty is shorted out it could cause the batteries to get extremely hot and we know what might happen after that. I usually just put the atty near my ear and...
Most of the one's I've seen with Mini Ecig on it were 901's. Like this.

Congrats and stick with it no matter what! In no time you'll be a year and 2 months cigg-free like me! I was a heavy smoker for 30 years and I still can't believe how easy it was for me to totally quit.
Just FYI. I'm using these...

and off the charger they read 3.98v. which is .38 over what they say maximum charge is. I'm on my 2nd HV atty. The first one lasted just over 3 weeks. The current one I'm using is on day 7 with...
And Col. Gaunt is correct about the multimeter. But be sure the batteries in that are good too. I had an episode a couple weeks ago where I thought my batteries and charger were all malfunctioning when it turned out the batteries in the meter were near death and threw the readings off by a mile.
They may or may not be FULLY charged but they won't be totally dead. Just put them in the charger before using them and when the light turns green they are done no matter how long they've been in there. Leaving them in the charger any longer after the light turns green will not do any harm but...
Internal safety measures the end user never sees. NICE! You should make a cut-away version so everyone can see exactly what's going on inside one of these beauties.
