Well, it is already called an 801...:) If the regulating electronics are in the base with the switch it looks like a simple matter to lift the leads at the LED. They are clearly exposed in the photo.
That tat makes me want to sing Eric Clapton. I get off on a '57 Chevy, I get off on a screaming guitar, I've got a rockin' roll, I've got a rockin' roll heart.
Nic turns redish brown as it is exposed to oxygen. I have a quart bottle of 54mg/ml that has a pinkish hue to it. It does not seem to affect the flavor and works just fine. It is up on a high shelf in the closet for minimal light exposure and my little one can not reach it, even if he drags a...
Too true. I checked my 10ml bottles using a syringe and noticed they have a forgiving head space. I figured at worst I could use a syringe with a blunt needle tip to suck/spray the mixture to and from the bottle to mix it but wanted to see if a 10ml boston round was full to the top or left some...
Don't know about Akron specificly but check for a cake supply shop or a place that carries candy flavorings. We have one in Tucson that caries all of the Lorann's flavorings.
Make your mix of em crystals to pga or pg by volume not weight. 1 tsp=5ml. A little heat (hot water bath - coffee cup with some hot water) will help. Treat that as a flavoring. To be honest I bought a couple ounces of the cotton candy pg, which is a 10% EA/PG mix, from PA when I first started...
GoodDog - As always, you rock. Now I have a craving to mix up a peach/graham cracker pie. Your posts seem to always leave me taking notes for future projects. Thank you.
The color change of the nic liquid could be due to the nic oxidizing. I have almost a liter of 54 that is a light pink color now. I do not know if oxygen will disolve in PG and then affect the nic that was added later over time.
If you want to get a feel for percentages in your mixes measure...
You are welcome. I have a small tub of these tools and only the skill to use like two of them, with little skill. I have a thing for old time banjos from the early 1900's from Boston. My avatar is a banjo peg head from the Vega company, circa 1920's. That thing is a griffin in mother of pearl...
From the look on your face and the amount of vapor I was impressed that you didn't also. :)
We might want to change the title of this thread to "hijacked to talk about that other thread on the Genisis"...
Well, the camera is nowhere to be found right now but I put together a simple genisis...
I must be weird or something. I still use the white stuff that came in the carts when I bought them. I have washed the little bits in a bag in the laundry without softener. My no wrinkle pants are not supposed to be washed with softener and I figure the wife is not going to need the bag for her...
I currently have a day trip planned to Stuttgart on the 5th of December. A personal day in a long business trip. Along with visiting the Porsche museum in Zuffenhausen, I am hoping to meet up with Raidy. I will ask him if he would be willing to part with a Raidy made Genisis. If so I will bring...
