Because I obviously was hoping it would have a defect so it would have to be sent back. I think it's totally awesome my niece now has to wait on a new unit! Yay! Go Provape!
I don't get it. Must be typical American humour?
Anyway, can you explain what it is exactly that is predictable about receiving a Radius with a loose screen cover?
Luckily this kind of stuff is regulated at the EU level. You can send it back (unused) within 14 days of ordering it without an explanation and the shop must give you your money back or in our case replace it.
It's already at the post office so no, I can't. But it moves back and forth by at least 1.5mm. It wasn't pressed in correctly which is causing the movement and rattle.
I've never had this happen with another mod whether I bought it for myself or someone else.
And don't hope it gets fixed for me, hope it gets fixed for my niece ;) Luckily we have a few more 2.5's laying around she can use so her girlfriend won't have to give the one back she just got from her.
No, we don't. Oh, and the battery wrap also has tear in it at the negative pole. And here's what's so funny about this. All of our Chinese made SX Mini's are flawless, but a company like Provape that says they make the highest quality mods on the market lets this slip through the cracks...
The Radius I gifted my niece is already on it's way back to the re-seller in Germany. The screen cover is loose, you can move it with your finger and it rattles around. Really Provape, a €200 mod and it has a loose screen. It's gonna be at least a week and a half before she gets her replacement...
How do you know? The fact that Provape obviously went to great lengths to over-engineer things doesn't mean it's not that simple to make it user update-able.
My mistake. I remembered it being $250.
Like any business Provape is in the game to make money. Do you really think they would sell the programmer without making a single dime of profit on it?
But they are selling the programmers and making a profit on them.
And do you mean like a DNA30 or something like a 2.5 but with 40 watts? Yes I would. But here's the difference, a DNA30 does only one thing and you know exactly what you're buying. A Procyon could be updated to do TC, up the amp...
I read a post from a shop owner on another forum the updater costs $250. I don't know what it costs to make it but you can be sure Provape makes a nice profit on these units. There are ways to make a user update-able tube mod and the whole argument of warranty on the update procedure is just...
So today is my nieces birthday and she loves the cabernet red Radius and Kabuki I got for her. She filled the Kabuki with some 'nana cream and she's in vaping heaven :)
And here's something else that's really cool. About 3 months ago my niece started dating this girl who smokes. Or rather, who...
And this is the real reason why Provape made a dedicated programmer... to make extra cash by selling these units. And since it obviously paid of with the P3 there's no reason for them not to stick with it.
Suppose Samsung makes a smartphone without a USB port, and tells the public that from now on they have to take their Galaxy smartphone to a dealer to update to the next Android version or to get bug/security fixes... would you buy one? You wouldn't. In fact, you'd declare them crazy. To me this...
