I just saw your post lynlee. too funny. it took me about a month or two to master it. don't give up. the warm weather here is not helping. i had to refrigerate my clay to get it not to turn to mush when i was handling it.
my cartos last 2-3 days and then i soak them in coke overnight and rinse with super hot water, blow them out and let them dry for 48 hours. then they are ready to go again for another 2-3 days. i can use 5 for about a month. hope this helps.
Cricket-all i would need is the part it attaches to. It really depends on how warm it gets since it sits on the ce2. I would not put it in the dishwasher. It might get too hot in there especially on the sanitize cycle.
The hardware stores have them. I have been racking my brain trying to comeup with a little hard plastic sleeve that would keep them fitting the same. It seems that either the rubber ring is getting softer when warmed by the atty or the juice getting on it makes it slick. I'm leaning toward it...
Yes drot i did! Sorry, crazy weekend. Bmw- working on fitment on my end. I think i have it figured out. I wish i could think of some hard plastic pre-formed little sleeve so that it wouldn't be such a pain. That's awesome cricket! Who was there? Dying to know!
They are non-toxic and will not burn. They will get soft on the bottom under excessive heat. Clay is a porous material. I use a toothbrush to clean them once a week or after i am sick.
