It's actually much easier to rebuild them "better" than original now. My $.02: - Go to fasttech and search for "Pre-made Welded Wires". Get the ohm you want. Get all the ohms you might want to play with....it's cheap! (Just get the NR-R-NR wires - not the coils or coils & wick) - Go to ebay...- jafmf95

So, I agree with the assessment of the Nautilus clone heads. Just as good as the real ones. My experience with the Kanger dual coil w/sleeve clones (from fasttech) is that a) they perform as well as the real ones, but b) they are constructed of lower quality material. For some it is a perfectly valid analogy. Some not. I would say it would depend on your primary reasons for quitting smoking. If you quit primarily for budgetary reasons, then throwing money away on this because that's what you did with smokes would not really be a good justification. But... -

Slight tip for Aspire ET-S BDC clearomizer
The airflow on these just doesn't cut it for me, but I did find something to improve it slightly. I drilled out one hole to 5/64" which has been suggested several places. bvc hype - so i rebuilt my PT1 into BVC.... now what?
Yes - I've been rebuilding my protank heads into BVCs, but I figured the original (single coil) heads wouldn't be big enough. The new style dual coil heads with the sleeves work like a charm. No - the heads are nearly identical. There are videos for the BDCs out there - I haven't seen any for BVCs. But the tear down is the same - as far as getting the head apart. Edit - with one exception. When you look down the top of the BVC, there is a small screen. Pull that out with... -

They actually aren't that hard to rebuild. There are videos out there for rebuilding the BDCs - follow that for disassembly. I use the Muji Japanese cotton squares for filler, cut to size (same as the ones you pulled out), put them around a coil (I build mine down to 1.3Ω), and then use #400...
